How the Integration Works
The seamless integration between your CMS and the MultiTrans Prism Advanced Leveraging TM (ALTM) is accomplished through MultiTrans Prism Web Services. There are three Web Services that enable your organization to streamline its translation workflow by incorporating it into your CMS.
When a document is flagged for translation in your CMS, the MultiTrans Prism Web Services will automatically take action by performing the following:
Step 1 – MultiTrans Prism Analysis Web Services:
MultiTrans Prism analyzes the document for matches with existing translations, looking in your TextBases and TermBases, and within the document for internal repetitions.
Step 2 – MultiTrans Prism Pre-Translate Web Services:
MultiTrans Prism will automatically pre-translate the document, replacing or identifying full and fuzzy matches. Since this takes place within the CMS, it ensures that your document's structure for tagged formats, including DTP, will be maintained; ensuring that the format of your translated document remains the same as the original document.
Step 3 – MultiTrans Prism TextBase Builder Web Services:
Once the translation and revision is complete, MultiTrans Prism will automatically align both the original and translated documents and upload them into your TextBases. This automation will ensure that your ever-growing repository of multilingual assets remains up-to-date and ready for re-use.
