Options and Add-Ons
MultiTrans Prism offers a number of add-ons that can be purchased to extend the functionality of MultiTrans Prism even further.
What follows is a list of the modules, components and add-ons available as plug-ins to the MultiTrans Prism solution. These options, when applicable, can be added to any MultiTrans Prism server configuration.

MultiTrans Prism Entry Level Server
The MultiTrans Prism Entry Level Server is identical to our MultiTrans Prism Enterprise Server but runs on a 32-bit version of the software rather than 64-bit. The 32-bit version can still be installed on a 64 bit server. For high volume of data and users the 64-bit version is recommended otherwise you can select this option and we would be happy to accommodate with proportional savings.
MultiTrans Prism Expert
The MultiTrans Prism Expert is a full-featured license option for users who need the full power of MultiTrans. MultiTrans Prism Expert license is intended for project managers and administrators who will need to create TextBases and TermBases.
MultiTrans Prism Translator
The MultiTrans Prism Translator license provides access to the essential functionalities for a translator to work locally or over a server to access TextBases and TermBases created by others. The MultiTrans Prism Translator license is similar to the MultiTrans Prism Expert license, but with fewer rights.
MultiTrans Prism Freelance
The MultiTrans Prism Freelance license provides access to the essential functionalities for translators working remotely to work locally or to connect to a client's server to access TextBases and TermBases. The MultiTrans Prism Freelance license is similar to the MultiTrans Prism Expert license, but with fewer rights. This license cannot be installed on a domain and is intended to be used by freelancers only.
MultiTrans Prism External Translator
The MultiTrans Prism External Translator license provides access to the essential functionalities for translators working remotely to work locally or to connect to a client's server to access TextBases and TermBases. The MultiTrans Prism External Translator license is similar to the MultiTrans Prism Translator license.
XLIFF Editor
The XLIFF Editor is a stand-alone application for editing tagged format files such as MS Office 2007 & 2010, HTML, XML, Adobe® InDesign®, and XLIFF files produced by other tools. By separating the translatable text from formatting commands (preserved as tagged information) and presenting it in a two column source/target format, the XLIFF Editor makes translating complex formats easy. Comes free with MultiTrans Prism Expert license, MultiTrans Prism Freelance license and MultiTrans Prism External Translator license.
MultiTrans Prism Web Server
With the MultiTrans Prism Web Server component, you can grant access to TextBase TM Web or TermBase Web functionality. This allows you to open up your linguistic assets to authors, revisers, external language service providers (LSPs) and freelancers anywhere in the world.
MultiTrans Prism TextBase TM Web Viewer
This license allows an individual to view TextBases through MultiTrans Prism TextBase TM Web. MultiTrans Prism TextBase TM Web opens up your sever TextBases to the web and facilitates external collaboration. TextBase TM Web is specifically designed to allow individuals who do not have MultiTrans software installed on their computers to search through previous translations via a web interface.
MultiTrans Prism TermBase Web Viewer
This license allows an individual to view TermBases through MultiTrans Prism TermBase Web. Open up your sever TermBases to the web to facilitate external collaboration. No software is required to be installed on the user's computer – they simply require a web browser. The TermBase Web is ideal for those organizations who wish to promote consistent terminology usage among any and all writers, editors, revisers, translators, as well as clients.
MultiTrans Prism TermBase Web Administrator
This license provides administrative rights to an individual within your organization to TermBases through MultiTrans Prism TermBase Web. The Administrator will be able to do imports/exports, view history, create and manage fields on line – all without needing a client installed on their local computer. Open up your sever TermBases to the web to facilitate external collaboration. No software is required to be installed on the user's computer – they simply require a web browser. The TermBase Web is ideal for those organizations who wish to promote consistent terminology usage among any and all writers, editors, revisers, translators, as well as clients.
MultiTrans Prism TermBase Web Collaborator
This license allows an individual Read/Write credentials to the TermBase through MultiTrans Prism TermBase Web. The collaborator will be able to use all the search capabilities of the TermBase Web, but to contribute, edit and revise terms directly through a web browser with no other software required. Open up your sever TermBases to the web to facilitate external collaboration. No software is required to be installed on the user's computer – they simply require a web browser. The TermBase Web is ideal for those organizations who wish to promote consistent terminology usage among any and all writers, editors, revisers, translators, as well as clients.
MultiTrans Prism SDK
The MultiTrans Prism SDK is made up of a number of comprehensive web services through which many of the MultiTrans Prism functions for leveraging linguistic assets can be triggered and managed automatically.
MultiTrans Prism Flow PM Access
The Project Manager License for our Web Based Translation Workflow and Project Management component allows individuals to receive orders, create and track projects, issue assignments and other project administrative functions. MultiTrans Prism Flow delivers a comprehensive workflow and globalization management solution that provides full control of translation requests and deliveries.
MultiTrans Prism Flow Client Access
The Client License for our Web Based Translation Workflow and Project Management allows individual clients to submit projects, review and approve estimates, track projects in progress, and access completed project files, all through the web! MultiTrans Prism Flow delivers a comprehensive workflow and globalization management solution that provides full control of translation requests and deliveries.
MultiTrans Prism Flow Provider Access
The Service Provider License for our Web Based Translation Workflow and Project Management allows your external translators, editors, revisers and other providers, receive and submit projects, submit invoices and preview upcoming work. MultiTrans Prism Flow delivers a comprehensive workflow and globalization management solution that provides full control of translation requests and deliveries.
MultiTrans Prism Find Module
The MultiTrans Prism Find Module allows you to open up the powerful Find search engine for MultiTrans Prism Flow through the web. MultiTrans Prism Find Module is a web based tool that serves as an archive manager and search engine for documents stored in MultiTrans Prism Flow, featuring a bi-text display function.
MultiTrans Prism Find Access
The MultiTrans Prism Find Access allows individuals to access the powerful Find search engine for MultiTrans Prism Flow through the web. Through MultiTrans Prism Find users will be able to take advantage of its speed and power to scan up to half a million documents stored in MultiTrans Prism Flow in under a second.
TranSys Module
TranSys is a machine translation solution, It maximizes efficiencies within your translation processes by bringing together two of the industry's most powerful tools. Advanced Linguistics Server License
Server license for our Advanced Linguistics module seamlessly extends the same functionality users enjoy with MultiTrans to users that have character based languages such as Chinese, Japanese, or Korean as their translation source documents.
Advanced Linguistics Client License
Local Client license for our Advanced Linguistics module seamlessly extends the same functionality users enjoy with MultiTrans to users that have character based languages such as Chinese, Japanese, or Korean as their translation source documents.
Unlimited Web Option
Unlimited Web license option ideal for opening up web-enabled TermBases and TextBases for readers over a company intranet or internet to facilitate easy web browsing for all employees, clients and customers.
Machine Translation interface
The Machine Translation Interface is designed to integrate third-party Machine Translation systems such as Systran and ProMT into the MultiTrans Prism translation process through a Web Services interface.
CMS Integration Interface
Extends the functional benefits of an organization's CMS to translation process by converting a Content Management System (CMS) to a Global Management System (GMS) via a Web Services interface
FilterPack
FilterPack is an add-on module which allows users to add over 250 file types to their server TextBases.
eMultiTrans
eMultiTrans is a server-based solution that uses remote desktop computing technology to deliver the MultiTrans Prism suite of products (Expert and Translator) to end-user desktops via the Internet. This is an ideal solution for organizations who do not want to install licenses on user's desktops.
