Advanced Terminology Module
The Advanced Terminology Module is designed to provide highly flexible controls for security management and fine-grained access management. Administrators can control the access to records and control what information is available to whom. For example, with the Advanced Terminology Module, administrators can define records that are only accessible by the translation team and others that would be accessible to all users via intranet. This way, organizations can have one centralized terminology system for all information which can be accessed by different users for different purposes. This type of environment also facilitates the terminology approval workflow and brings the authors, revisers, and the entire team into the information loop.
The Advanced Terminology Module includes the Translation Generator, which allows organizations to rapidly unlock and extract multilingual terminology from previously translated documentation. It uses sophisticated algorithms to extract terminology from your TextBase Translation Memories and to identify and retrieve the corresponding translations. in one or multiple languages. The system then displays a list of possible translations per expression for your validation. This unique approach enables you to quickly leverage the information contained in your TextBase TM into large and specialized terminology databases.
