MultiTrans Prism Flow Provider Access
In our Business/Project Management section we explain some of the concepts behind our project management module, MultiTrans Prism Flow. In this section we look at some of the specific functions of Flow for Service Providers. Flow is structured as interlocked "portals': an internal portal where your project managers and business owners receive orders and track projects, among other activities; a client portal where customers can login to submit new projects and track ongoing work; and service providers portal where translators and editors can pick up job assignments and submit invoices, among other activities.
Highlights of the Provider functions:
- Accept tasks and find all of the related files and project instructions in a single location. Single point of information and document retrieval for everything related to an assignment.
- Upload completed documents and automatically update the status of tasks. Once an assignment is complete the service provider can upload the completed documents via their portal.
- Get a feel for their upcoming workloads when tasks have been assigned but are not ready for action. Providers can get an preview of work in their "pipeline" and schedule their time accordingly. Helps to eliminate the logjams of emergency requests.
- Bid on jobs using MultiTrans Prism Flow unique provider pooling feature. Project managers can notify providers of an available job and providers can bid to claim the work.
- Create and submit invoices without ever leaving the interface. Providers can upload their invoices and the project manager is notified to process for payment, eliminating separate steps.
