MultiTrans Prism TermBase Web Administrator
The MultiTrans Prism TermBase Web opens up your sever TermBases to the web to facilitate external collaboration. No software is required to be installed on the user's computer – they simply require a web browser. The TermBase Web is ideal for those organizations who wish to promote consistent terminology usage among any and all writers, editors, revisers, translators, as well as clients. TermBase Web offers functionality similar to your internal TermBases, including feature rich search functions. In addition, TermBase Web installations can be customized to display your own logos and corporate colors and you can even create individual login interfaces for your clients customized for each client and its own URL.
The MultiTrans Prism Web Administrator license gives a user read-write access to TermBases with elevated privileges to do Imports, view history, create and manage Fields on line – all without needing a client installed on their local computer. It is intended for power users managing multiple TermBases remotely over the Web and who may need to apply structural changes to the terminology databases. These licenses are particularly useful for organizations with a widespread community of terminology managers. They are also convenient for terminologists and those who manage the terminology workflow and who wish to work away from their regular office computer. These licenses allow you to use all the search capabilities of the MultiTrans Prism TermBase Web, but also allow users to contribute, edit and revise terms directly through a web browser with no other software required.
The interface is easy to use offering users different options based on their level of access. For those with sufficient privileges that may include the ability to edit and approve/reject entries, add definitions or import/export TBX or XML format terminology files that can be opened in other terminology tools.
