MultiTrans Prism Web Server
While MultiTrans Prism TextBase TM and TermBase are enterprise client-server applications, they can be web-enabled, in part or practically in whole, through the MultiTrans Prism Web Server. With the MultiTrans Prism Web Server component you can grant access to TextBase TM Web or TermBase Web functionality. This allows you to open up your linguistic assets to authors, revisers, external language service providers (LSPs) and freelancers anywhere in the world. Real-time access to your server TextBase TM and TermBases from a standard Web browser - no installation of software required! This complements the web-based functionality of our MultiTrans Prism Flow to web-enable your entire platform.
When used with our Advanced Terminology Module, you can create interactive collaboration workflow for your MultiTrans TermBase web installation. This allows remote users, service providers and even clients to be granted rights to modify and add terminology entries. Your internal project managers can then create Terminology entries to be updated and corrected by off-site terminologists which can then be opened to the client for their approval. Allows you to involve all stakeholder in the terminology life-cycle.
With web-enabled MultiTrans Prism TextBases and TermBases you can also utilize our Fetch from Web add-on to allow you to automatically mark up MS Word documents or XLIFF Editor files with links to the TM and TermBase matches. With Fetch from Web, you will be able to assign MultiTrans Prism TextBases and TermBases access rights to remote collaborators so they can view, and search TM matches and terminology in context, through the web interface. The Fetch From Web add-in is ideal for authors and translators who do not use MultiTrans but work in an MS Word editing environment.
