MultiTrans Prism Yellow includes Translation Memory, Advanced Leveraging Translation Memory and Terminology Management tools, as a powerful server configuration. This is a perfect complement for organizations who do not need a workflow component or who already have a project management solution but who want to gain the advantages of our Advanced Leveraging and terminology technology.

MultiTrans Prism TextBase TM is our translation memory component that offers you everything conventional translation memory tools do with the added bonus of advanced leveraging translation memory (TM + ALTM). Advanced leveraging technology lets you get more value from your translation memory assets by extending matching to whole paragraph segments and sub-segments as well as traditional TM segments. Our rapid alignment functionality automates creating translation memories making it easy and cost effective to create larger and more comprehensive TMs. Adheres to TMX and SRX standards so importing translation memories created in other applications can be easily imported with their segmentation rules. MultiTrans Prism TextBase TM also incorporates advanced search functions which, combined with its full corpus approach, turns your TM into a searchable bilingual reference database. Can also be integrated with machine translation systems to create a hybrid TM+MT system.

MultiTrans Prism TermBase is easy to use, fully TBX (industry standard format for terminology data exchange) compliant, and has many automated features that save you time and money. It can ensure terminology consistency at the start of a translation project and check completed translations for fidelity to approved vocabulary. This eliminates the factor of human error in maintaining terminology consistency. This comprehensive tool enables you to control the life cycle of a term from creation to approval steps and to on-going evolution. With optional web-enabled version you can also share your terminology over the internet with external partners, collaborators, clients and service providers.

* MultiTrans Prism's Auto-Align Server enables the automation of the List Builder and TextBase Builder functionalities. The Auto-Alignment Scheduler allows the system to automatically check a particular folder, apply a pre-defined document-pairing scheme, and add the paired documents to a specified TextBase on a scheduled timeline. This means that the client can have their TextBases automatically updated on a regular, nightly basis (for instance) with all new pairs of documents that have been added or saved to a particular folder.

** Team Module: MultiTrans Prism’s Team Module enables sharing propagation memories in real time.  The Team Module, will record, in real-time every sentence translated through the Translation Agent.  In addition, the Translation Agent will query the Team Module concurrently with the TextBase server upon translating each sentence.  This means that translation in a team environment is facilitated because recycling of newly translated sentence is available in real-time, without having to wait until the TextBase is updated.  Furthermore, the Team Module allows for a group of users to revise different parts of the same document simultaneously though real-time revision of the propagation memory segments.  With this module, revision and translation can be concurrent instead of consecutive activities.  As soon as a sentence is revised in the Team Module, only the revised version is proposed to the group of translators, working in parallel as the group of revisers.  The unique ability of MultiTrans Prism to work in such a parallel mode facilitates the meeting of deadlines by dividing up the work in a group, while still achieving translation harmonisation and high quality, reviewed documents.

*** WordAlign Module: From within many areas of MultiTrans Prism, the Word Align Module allows the system to propose translations for sub-segment matches automatically, thereby providing an efficient method of alignment at the word level. With this module, users can accurately assess the consistency of terminology use in their documents by identifying if a term has been translated multiple ways. The system will also inform users of how often each term has been translated a certain way in all of their past translations so that the most common translation is identified first in the list with the respective usage percentage. All this without having to individually review all previously translated documents. The Word Align features are available for: TextBase Search & TextBase Web Search; Translation Agent & Analysis Agent; Terminology Extractor.
