This license provides full access to the entire suite of functionality available through the MultiTrans client application. The licenses are stored on a license server, allowing you to install the MultiTrans Expert Edition (program) wherever needed.
Also recommended for those whose main functions involve translation or revision, and who need access to the TextBases and TermBases created by coordinators or others.

Translator (Named)

Those whose main functions involve translation or revision, and who need access to the TextBases and TermBases created by coordinators or others. With this license, users have access to the wide variety of search features in the TermBase (the terminology module), including the ability to contribute and revise terminology. All the search features of the TextBase TM are also available, and users can view the unilingual terminology extraction. The full range of translation and revision capabilities in Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect and Microsoft PowerPoint are available, including access to the Propagation Memory or Team Server, allowing instant re-use of translated segments.

With the Concurrent version, the Translator licenses are stored on the server and can therefore be shared among users. Users have access to the wide variety of search features in the TermBase (the terminology module), including the ability to contribute and revise terminology. All the search features of the TextBase TM are also available, and users can view the unilingual terminology extraction. External Translator (Concurrent)

Those who wish to have access to all of the search, translation and revision capabilities of the Translator license, but are not permitted to export or save TermBases, TextBase TMs or Propagation Memories locally. Similar to the Translator (Concurrent) licenses, except more control of intellectual property. Translators can connect to your multilingual resources externally and use them fully to translate or revise directly in Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect or Microsoft PowerPoint.

Look Up (Named)

|
For authors, editors and other language professionals who are not required to translate or revise on a regular basis, but who still wish to access your multilingual assets. This license is also ideal for those who are less comfortable translating directly on a computer, or who prefer to dictate their translations. The lookup license provides search and fetch from web functionality, but some key components such as the Translation Agent which allows for interactive replacement of found matches (aka: Workbench) are not available.

The MultiTrans Look Up Concurrent licenses give users all the functionality of the Look Up Named license, with the additional ability to share licenses between users! Licenses are stored on a license server, allowing you to install the MultiTrans Look Up Edition wherever needed.

Freelancers and translators who already hold a MultiTrans license and who wish to connect to their client's servers. It is their client who determines who can connect to their multilingual assets when and for how long with the External Server Connectors. These can be allocated on a per-project or as-required basis. This license is ideal for external resources and vendors with their own copies of MultiTrans, who can use your multilingual resources to complete projects more quickly, efficiently and consistently, with higher quality, without compromising your assets.

TermBase Web Connectors (Read-Only)

Users who wish to view and search your published terminology without any risk of inadvertent modifications. No software is required to be installed on the user's computer, they simply require a web browser. These licenses are ideal for those organizations who wish to promote consistent terminology usage among any and all writers, editors, revisers, translators, as well as marketing departments, sales departments and any other areas where consistent terminology can strengthen brand names, and make all documentation more consistent.

TermBase Web Connectors (Read-Write)

Those who sometimes require individuals to work on their terminology database from different locations. These licenses are particularly useful for organizations with a widespread community of terminology contributors. They are also convenient for terminologists and those who manage the terminology workflow and who wish to work away from their regular office computer. These licenses allow you to use all the search capabilities of the TermBase Web, but also allow you to contribute, edit and revise terms directly through a web browser with no other software required.

Those who do not have MultiTrans software installed on their computers, but who occasionally need to search through previous translations. These connector licenses also help reduce inquiries from vendors or freelancers, as they can self-serve through a web browser to view the translation standards of your organization.

For project managers and coordinators who assign resources and determine cost and level of effort to complete translation projects. Clients can also receive automatic cost estimates before submitting a translation project. The Analysis Web Connectors provide access to the Analysis module directly through a web application, with no desktop software required other than a web browser!
